Kim

Kim was introduced to Pilates and barre after going to classes with her mom throughout high school and college. As a three sport high school athlete but a non-competitive person, Kim experimented with various types of group fitness classes. After her first barre class, she remembered feeling incredibly energized, and was inspired to continue feeling that way for the rest of her life. Kim completed her barre certification through North End Yoga in 2018. After a year of teaching barre, she became a firm believer in the power of low impact movement through Pilates. In 2019 she became PowerPilates certified, and is continuing her Pilates education by pursuing her STOTT Intensive Mat certification at the end of this year (2021). 

Kim feels most at ease when she’s barefoot in a studio, moving in sync to a good beat alongside her friends (aka her students). Off the mat, Kim loves resistance training, tennis, and a really good night’s sleep.
